The FAQ Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading (QCF) will confirm a learner’s competence in an occupational role to the standard required. This qualification will also provide the learner with a wide range of knowledge and skills required to work in a team leading role. This qualification is has been designed for learners working within organisations/facilities where they have team leading responsibilities/roles.

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16+ that are working within an organisation where they have team leading roles and responsibilities. To achieve this qualification, learners must complete a minimum of 40 credits: 22 credits from Mandatory Group A and a minimum of 12 credits from Optional Group B. A maximum of 6 credits can come from Optional Group C.

Learners must complete 5 mandatory unit, these are:

 Manage personal performance and development

 Communicate work-related information

 Lead and manage a team

 Principles of team leading

 Understand business

Learners must also complete a number of optional units; these units encompass a broad range of competencies from the management and leadership sector.
