The purpose of this Level 4 Diploma in Project Management (QCF) is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding in the principles and practice of project management, this qualification provides learners with the knowledge and competence equivalent to a first year degree. Learners will be able to develop skills relating to their job role.

Each of the units in these qualifications is allocated a number of guided learning hours (GLH) which indicates the approximate number of hours for teacher supervised or directed study time and assessment. Information on unit GLH for this qualification is given in each unit.

The guided learning hours (GLH) for this qualification are: Min 605 - Max 320

To achieve the Level 4 Diploma in Project Management (QCF) learners must achieve a minimum of 120 credits. They must complete 3 mandatory units in Group M (50 credits) and achieve a minimum of 70 credits from Group O optional units. At least 120 of the credits must be achieved at Level 4 or above.
