The purpose of this FAQ Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business (QCF) is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to use social media in a business setting.

It gives the learner the opportunity to:

 Manage tasks using collaborative technologies

 Understand how Social Media fits into the objectives and marketing of a business

 Understand Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Social Media Optimisation (SMO)

 Be able to use social media management tools in relation to social networking

Minimum credits required to achieve the qualification: 42

Each of the units in these qualifications is allocated a number of guided learning hours (GLH) which indicates the approximate number of hours for teacher supervised or directed study time and assessment. Information on unit GLH for this qualification is given in each unit. The guided learning hours (GLH) for this qualification are: Min 257 - Max 420

To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business (QCF) learners must achieve a minimum of 42 credits. 24 credits must come from Mandatory group M1 and a minimum of 18 credits from their chosen pathway.
