The purpose of this Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding in the teaching profession. Minimum credits required to achieve the qualification: 12

This qualification has been listed on the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) at: Level 3

Each of the units in these qualifications is allocated a number of guided learning hours (GLH) which indicates the approximate number of hours for teacher supervised or directed study time and assessment. Information on unit GLH for this qualification is given in each unit.

Learners must achieve a minimum of 12 credits. They must complete 1 mandatory unit in Group M (3 credits) and achieve a minimum three credits from Group O optional units
