Anybody who knows me will tell you I'm a sucker for a happy ending.
I'm always chuffed to bits when the boy gets the girl, the superhero thwarts the evil villain...and our hard-working students gain their much-deserved qualifications.
Running a business with more than 20 years’ experience offering independent courses and qualifications in childcare, management, team leading, customer service and business administration you'd think I'd be used to it by now.
But the truth is, when our learners achieve positive outcomes it never fails to fill me with great pride and delight for them.
It's also very gratifying when they are prepared to go on record and talk about how our specialist training company has helped them attain their learning objectives.
So, I'm enormously grateful that one of our recent graduates, Jessica Roberts, was willing to share her experiences of our company:
'When I left school, I went to Boston College where I completed my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education.
'I always knew I wanted to work in a school as either a teaching assistant or a teacher.
'And after a couple of years looking for a job I finally found a teaching assistant position in a primary school that I really enjoy.
'I realised that I wanted to delve deeper into the teaching assistant role and, after really good reports from family members, I decided Riverside Training offered the best option to do so.
It's a decision I have never regretted!
'I contacted the training centre and went for a meeting to discuss my options.
'Together with a training advisor I found the best course for me and, shortly afterwards, I began the Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.
'This was a great choice as it supported me so much with my current role at school.
'My tutor was truly amazing, the level of support I received throughout the course, at all hours of the day, was wonderful and much appreciated.
'When I completed the qualification, I didn't hesitate to return to staff at Riverside Training to discuss what would be my best route onto my teaching degree.
'Thanks to their valuable advice, I am now ready to start my teaching degree in September.'
Our congratulations go to Jessica and we wish her all the best in her degree course and career progression.
